Dr. James Galyen is excited to be a part of the Decatur County Community!

Dr. Galyen, a licensed Chiropractor, has many years of experience in treating patients and running an efficient office.  Dr. Galyen owned a clinic in Scottsburg, Indiana, and provided chiropractic care to the Scottsburg community for over 15 years.  After selling his clinic to his associate doctor, he now primarily works in his Greensburg office.

 He received his B.S. degree from Indiana University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1994 from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  In addition, he has had post-graduate training in sports injuries, extremities, pain management and treating auto accident patients.  Dr. Galyen enjoys working with people of all ages and has a particular emphasis on caring for families.  Dr. Galyen also specializes in lower back problems, shoulder, hip and neck pain, as well as treatment for headaches and migraines.  As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Galyen is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of his patients.

Dr. Galyen uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Galyen is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
