James C. Galyen, D.C.

Dr. Galyen, a licensed Chiropractor, has many years of experience in treating patients and running an efficient office.  Dr. Galyen owned a clinic in Scottsburg, Indiana, and provided chiropractic care to the Scottsburg community for over 15 years.  After selling his clinic to his associate doctor, he now works in the Seymour and Greensburg Health Centered Spine and Wellness offices.

He received his B.S. degree from Indiana University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1994 from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  In addition, he has had post-graduate training in sports injuries, extremities, pain management and treating auto accident patients.  Dr. Galyen enjoys working with people of all ages and has a particular emphasis on caring for families.  Dr. Galyen also specializes in lower back problems, shoulder, hip and neck pain, as well as treatment for headaches and migraines.  As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Galyen is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of his patients.

Dr. Galyen uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function.
